Back at Melbourne Fine Food Exhibition in mid September, I was given the honour to host a panel of the hospitality innovators to talk about the future of technology and how they will play a role and benefit the hospitality industry as a whole. One of the special guests was the Typsy CEO, Jon Plowright, a humble and visionary advocate for technology as a tool to assist businesses in their everyday challenges with training.

Being part of Restaurant and Catering Industry Association of Australia, and the creator of the Digital Business Kit for the Restaurant and Catering industry, I am all for change, and change is for the better especially when Australia is known to be laggard on the technology front.

The FCBA team and I will be attending this Typsy Live talk thanks to Typsy and are extremely excited to be able to hear from the people who have really went the extra mile to achieve for our industry, no matter be it from a marketing perspective, photography perspective or a business development perspective. There will be many intriguing personalities as guest speakers there and some of them are such as Doughnut Time’s CEO and a missionary who survived alone lost in the Amazon forest.
