Ever since the establishment of FCBA I have been questioned a lot, why create this community or what my hidden agenda are. To be honest I’ve always only wanted to give back to a place where I’ve spent most of my life in and being able to assist anyone that wants to build a career or enrich their hobby regarding food. Which then leads to their second question of why food? It is simply because food is a source of energy and a part of life, why wouldn’t we want to celebrate and appreciate it?

For the past 1.5 years I have had a lot of joy building this community but it has been quite upsetting to me that when we get questioned about our authenticity of wanting to give back, it makes me wonder how rare is selflessness and humanity these days has become in our society. Has it reached a point in our society that it is hard to believe someone or a team is willing to create a community for the purpose of giving back?

I am certainly not a Saint but wouldn’t we all want our society, the city we live in, the place of where our future sons and daughters will reside, be a better and more humane place?

On a last note I want to thank all those that question our team and I because this is what motivates us to continue to prove that it is ok to do what you love and keeping true to a belief.
